Meeting With Members of Congress in Washington, DC -- Travel to Washington, DC (at your own expense) to meet with your elected representatives/staff in their Capitol Hill offices. SIIA will make all of the arrangements and provide you with relevant talking points. We are also happy to have one of our lobbyists join you for the meetings.

Meeting With Members of Congress in Your Home State/Congressional District – Too busy to get to Washington, DC? No problem! It’s equally effective to meet with your congressional representatives in their district offices. Just like meetings in DC, SIIA staff will handle all of the scheduling details and make sure you are prepared for your meeting.

Self-Insurance PAC – Learn about SIIA’s PAC and how you can participate.

Lead a Correspondence Effort – Lead an effort to collect letters from colleagues and coworkers to submit to Members of Congress.

Engage in Media Outreach – Submit articles to local/social media on policy issues important to the self-insurance industry.

Recruit Employers to Participate in SIIA Political Advocacy Network – SIIA is always looking for self-insured employers/captive insurance companies (non-industry service providers) who we can put in front of members of Congress to describe first-hand how important self-insurance options are to their businesses. If you have any employer clients and/business associates that you think you could help us recruit then we would appreciate your help.
