SIEF Golf Tournament
October 1, 2012
Brickyard Crossing

Golf in Indianapolis? Perhaps that is a fair question, but did you know that this city is home to one of the most unique courses in United States? And now you have a chance to play it in conjunction with the Self-Insurance Institute of America, Inc. (SIIA) National Conference & Expo, scheduled for October 1-3, 2012.

The Self-Insurance Educational Foundation (SIEF) will be hosting its annual golf tournament fund-raiser at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course on the morning of Monday, October 1, immediately before the start of the SIIA conference.

So what’s so special about this course? It has some of the usual accolades, such as being voted one of America’s top 100 public golf courses by Golf Digest and Golfweek. But the truly unique thing about this course is that it is built in and around the famous Brickyard Race Track, home to the Indianapolis 500. Four holes are actually inside the oval with the rest of the holes adjacent to the back stretch of the race track.

You can sign up as an individual or as part of a foursome. The tournament is designed to be fun and participation is encouraged by all levels of golfers.

Proceeds from the tournament will help underwrite important foundation activities, including congressional staff briefings on self-insurance, production of industry publications and the recruitment of high profile speakers for SIIA events.
