SIIA Announces Self-Insured Health Plan Exec Forum Program

Don’t Miss This Must-Attend Event for Self-Insured Health Plan Business Partners

November 5, 2018 – The Self-Insurance Institute of America, Inc. (SIIA) today announced the program for its Self-Insured Health Plan Executive Forum. Scheduled for March 18-20, 2019 in Charlotte, NC, this is the premier industry event for companies that help employers set up and/or operate self-insured group health plans, with a specific educational focus for third party administrators, brokers/advisers and stop-loss carriers/MGUs.

The educational program will be fast-paced and encourage lively interaction through multiple panel discussions and targeted use of SIIA’s polling technology, which will solicit and display aggregated audience opinions in real time.

Building on the early success of the SIIA Future Leaders (SFL) initiative, we have scheduled a SFL “Mini-Program” on the front side of the Forum that is free to attend for SIIA members under age 40. Details for this SFL program will be announced soon, but you can register for this now.

Also on the front side of the program, members will have the opportunity to support the Self-Insurance Educational Foundation (SIEF) by participating in a fundraising event at Top Golf in Charlotte near the host hotel.

And be sure not to miss the last morning of the program when separate working groups will present preliminary best practices suggestions for stop-loss carriers and TPAs regarding claims administration and reimbursement procedures. This will be an important “peer review” opportunity where your opinions will be solicited so we strongly encourage that everyone participate.
