New Resource Now Available for TPAs Involved with Reference Based Pricing
January 13, 2021 – The Self-Insurance Institute of America, Inc. (SIIA) today announced the release of a new white paper: Reference Based Pricing Strategies and Considerations for Third Party Administrators (TPAs).
This is a work product of the association’s TPA Task Force, produced to provide useful and objective information for TPAs who administer or are otherwise involved with Reference Based Pricing (RBP) plans. Key topics include: balance billing, provider pushback, stop-loss insurance coordination, fiduciary liability and RBP vendor contracts.
