Vive Benefits is bringing a modern solution to the market that addresses HDHP shortfalls. Vive integrates directly into a health plan providing defense against out-of-pocket medical debt using tax-free contributions and a zero-interest line of credit.

The ideal Sales Executive candidate has experience as a carrier rep and/or ASO experience and would lead sales by growing channel partners and supporting brokers.  They would also help drive marketing efforts/campaigns as well as product direction to create solutions and product features that drive top-line revenue growth. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform outbound prospecting in alignment with campaigns and lead sources
  • Gain a thorough understanding of prospect pain points and articulate Vive’s value proposition(s) that address those areas
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Vive’s differentiators and refine the narrative to distinguish Vive from competitors
  • Proactively source new leads to maintain marketing pipeline activity
  • Work with Chief Commercial Officer and senior leadership to refine and drive best practices, identify growth opportunities, and use strategies to develop valued partners.
  • Negotiate deals with referral partners and employer sponsors.
  • Provide broker and employer training on Vive Benefits
  • Present to C-Suite in person as well as via Web-based applications.
  • Work directly with clients through the RFP process.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on key accounts to ensure smooth implementation
  • Be accountable for the sales pipeline including quoting, closing and renewal processes.
  • Manage and cultivate existing relationships

Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Management, or other insurance/business field 
  • Five to seven years sales experience; health plan carrier representative a plus
  • Experience with HSA’s and HDHP with an understanding of the consumer-driven narrative
  • Experience with self-funded group approaches
  • Experience or knowledge of selling into Broker and TPA spaces
  • Outstanding customer service, verbal/written communication, decision-making, problem-solving and leadership skills; excellent influencing and interpersonal skills

This can be a remote position and is open to the most qualified candidates across the United States. Some travel may be required once restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so, approximately 50% of the year.
